I think it's everyone's dream. when you're far away from home, maybe in a difficult situation, pull out an MRE with a hot quarter pound and an ice cold coke. seriously speaking, the job of a ration should not only be to provide calories and nutrients but also to provide support with familiar foods and flavors. the military rations we use in Italy are in fact made mostly with foods that you find in the same identical packages in civilian life

Too much food. You do not need any food in a 72h emergency situation. Rather use the space and weight for other stuff…. I regularly do one fast every year. I don't eat anything for 5 days. Absolutely no problem. You just have to say goodbye to the idea of ​​prosperity and always having something to eat.

I'd add a small carabiner for various purposes and a fishing line with some hooks and sinkers! Overall I think it's a great kit but as some mentioned in the comments, take your kit and rely on it for 72 hours! You've thought it well put and I think your fire capacity is overdone and your food provision is on a minimum with just the snare wire! Always keep in mind that rescue might not be there within 24 or 48 hours, if at all!

A survival kit must do two things, keep you hydrated and keep you well slept. This kit falls short of that. I would not recommend it.

And phone goes straight to voicemail. I just ordered a kit that said in stock when others clearly said out of stock. Got a confirmation email then nothing .

Stay away from this company. They are very shady. I was going to do some shopping there and had a small $14.95 item in my cart, but the shipping was going to be $6.95. Not worth it for me, I hate paying shipping. I was going to add more to meet the minimum order for free shipping, but never did. I ended up purchasing elsewhere. I had already entered my PayPal in their system, so they just though they'd complete the transaction for me. When I got an email about the order, I wrote them and I refused the delivery. They said to return it and I'd get a refund. I did, but they returned only $14.95 and charged me for shipping. I wrote them again about the shipping charges and they just repeated the same as before: "Return the item and we'll issue a refund." Stealth Angel are scammers. They should be investigated for fraud. PayPal refunded the shipping themselves.

I love the mini med kit!!

My problem with this kit is there's nothing to use as / no handle for the tin if you're using it to heat water or food. It's a minor quibble but one of the benefits of carrying a tin like this is you can cook in it

There is videos on how to make a monkey’s fist ball. My dad made some for sailing he would use a wooden ball that floats good and rope that floats as well to make his. In boating you use them to catch boat cleats or dock cleats to pull your boat to them. But you don’t want to catch one to the head. Now some people do put steel balls in small monkey’s fist as a self defense weapon ( that is illegal in most states) and use them as key chains. But I was thinking of getting one of those survival kits but never did because putting them back together is next to impossible and what if they lied about what is inside of them. And most pocket kits I stay away from except one I got it is the bear grylls basic kit I got it for $20 dollars years ago and still have it. The knife and ferro rod together is pretty much that a the time so why not. But pocket kits tools are too small most of the time to be use full.

Just watched the other video. By comparison, this one seems to be a better value for the money. BTW you had one year between videos. Couldn't you have found out what the tubing was for. Isn't it mentioned in the instructions?? My guess is that it it is used to drink from the solar still in the survival instructions.
